The Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) provides specialist policing across the UKPS road and transport network. Our officers work to prevent crime, reduce the risk of serious collisions and keep roads safe for everyone. Our work combines high-visibility patrols, proactive enforcement, intelligence-led operations and specialist investigation. We work alongside local policing teams and partner organisations to identify and respond to the risks affecting our communities. From responding to serious collisions to tackling dangerous driving and organised criminal activity, RTPC officers provide a specialist capability wherever roads and transport form part of the policing response.
