Advanced Trained Drivers
Advanced Trained Drivers provide UKPS with an enhanced level of police driving capability for specialist and operational deployments.
Advanced Driving
Advanced Drivers have completed additional specialist training beyond standard response driving. They are expected to demonstrate a high level of vehicle control, awareness and professional judgement while operating in demanding conditions. The qualification also provides a foundation for officers progressing towards further specialist driving roles within UKPS.
